April Showers Bring Pronky Powers
It rained a lot the past day or so. Buckets and torrents. The sun has finally returned, however, so I may go out for a quick bike ride shortly. Then later this evening it’ll be off to bowling, hopefully to improve my average some more. The nasty cut I got on my thumb last week (unrelated to bowling) has healed up for the most part, too.
I did a few chores today---hosed off the air conditioner intake and submitted the forms for our reserved parking space. I need to check the post office box after bowling to see if we have any new mail.
I’ve been working on getting all the Anthrocon ads in order and preparing for the last-minute rush of submissions to the conbook. Next year I either need to be better organized or delegate advertising to someone else. Our theme this year is “It’s A Jungle Out There” and our “Guest of OK” is legendary Disney cartoonist Floyd Norman. Anthrocon will be held June 26-29, 2008 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
I just noticed LMT stock is back down to $103/share. Grr. Oh well. What I need now is a pronk-powered springbok.
